AsiaCORD 2013: New Perspectives in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Research

We are pleased to announce that AsiaCORD 2013 will be held on April 19-20, 2013 in Kobe, Japan.
AsiaCORD was founded in November 2000 in Bangkok, Thailand, in order to establish internationally standardized cord blood banks in Asian cities and rapid search and supply of high quality cord blood for Asian patients.
AsiaCORD 2013 is organized by Dr. Shigetaka Asano, a physican hematologist, former Director of IMSUT Research Hospital, Professor Emeritus of University Tokyo, Special Professor of Waseda University. Dr. Asano has been the international leader of hematology (stem cells and gene therapy) for ~40 years and established BM bank and Cord Blood bank in Japan and expanded these to Asian network termed AsiaCord. He has been instrumental in emphasizing the importance of mesenchymal stem cells.
